Bidding in an auction allows you to specify the price you would be willing to pay for the artwork you want, while other collectors may or may not be willing to pay more. The person who purchases the NFT will be the one with the highest bid.

To bid, access the detail of the artwork you want to bid on and press the Bid button. You will see that a panel appears, where you can indicate the price you want to bid on the artwork.

There is a minimum amount of coins to bid in the auction, indicated above the field where you specify the amount.

You can choose to bid this minimum amount or a higher amount. The minimum amount corresponds to the price of the last bid + 5% of the original price of the artwork. In this way, we avoid the possibility of making low bids that could penalize the experience of collectors.

When you insert the number of coins you want to bid, press the Confirm button to confirm the coin transfer. If you have enough funds, a window will open with your wallet, indicating the price of the transaction and its cost (gas). Check that everything is correct and confirm the transfer. After a few seconds, your bid will be complete, and you will see this message.

If someone exceeds your bid, you can bid more coins simply by adding the number of coins you want to increase. Your coins will be added to your previous offer, increasing the value of the artwork. Click on the Bid More button to increase your bid.

If no one exceeds your bid, the artwork is yours, and you will have to claim your NFT.

If the auction ends and you have not won, you will have to get your money back.
